Femton år sedan, idag. Femton år sedan du slutligen dödförklarades. Några dagar tidigare hade du fallit ihop. Aneurysm, heter det visst.
Ibland undrar jag bittert varför det blev just du. Låt oss säga att Gud finns; Varför plockade han till sig just dig? Du, som i allt väsentligt levde efter hans ord och utförde hans gärningar? Vad skulle han med dig till, hos sig, när du gjorde sådan skillnad här hos oss? Varje dag förbättrade du liv. Förändrade liv. Gjorde skillnad för människor.
Jag har så mycket kvar att lära av dig. Jag vill bli lika stark, lika viktig för andra, som du var. Femton år, och de vet ännu vem du var. Vet vems brorsdotter jag är.
Faster. Gudmor. Spindelmor.
Jag tar hjälp av dig. Hämtar styrka i dig. Du går bredvid. Uppfyller dina gudmoderliga plikter.
